At the heart of Hall 14 is a river course that invites visitors to try out paddling in kayaks and canoes. The canoe course is open all day for young and old during boot Düsseldorf and exhibitors are happy to make their boats available for test rides. Get into the boat and paddle off!

Where else can you go on a river trip with canoes or kayaks in an exhibition hall and at the same time test the latest equipment? At the World of Paddling at boot Düsseldorf, of course. Along the course of the river, exhibitors present their latest products and trends and are always on hand for expert advice. Paddling structures explain the basics for the first paddling attempts and are always on hand to help.

For the first time ever, boot 2026 will feature a Paddle Race! Every day from 4:30 p.m. Compete against other water sports fans and show who is the fastest on the river. Whether kayak or canoe, this is all about skill, power, and lots of fun on the water! Three visitors can compete against each other here per day—free online booking is required for the Paddle Race.
